“The room was very clean and the air conditioner super cold which was great .The front desk guy was personable and nice and had good restaurant recommendations. The cleaning lady was super sweet . Our only critique was the mattresses were super firm/hard.”

“One room was okay but I didn't stay in that one so I don't know how good it was. One of the rooms had a smokey smell, stains on the cabinet doors in the bathroom, and random spots on the wall that I don't want to know about. I turned on a light in the middle of the night and a bug ran back under the rubber baseboard trim. “Booked this weekend for a relaxing weekend with the family. New owners giving it their all to get this place back in order! They were very accommodating and welcoming. Dock is under repair from storms and they are working with property across the river to get us out and fishing! “We booked 2 rooms one room had mold and was hot a moist when we walked in. The other room had bed bugs on one of the beds. We did not stay we refused the booking and it has taken me a month to get my full refund. OH YAA the pool has not had water in ten years don't let the description of this place fool you. This hotel has gone down hill and is at rock bottom!!!!”

“We stay here just about every summer. Sometimes we book a cabin instead, but we enjoy our stays here. This year it wasn’t quite as clean & there’s a mold issue. Never had this problem in the past. The mold issue is surely caused by guests getting the carpet wet. It would be ideal for the owner to switch to hard floors so people aren’t getting sick. “After checking in I parked and noticed cigarette butts in front of the doorway, maybe 7-10. I got in the room and pulled the comforter back to sit on the bed and immediately noticed that the sheets had not been changed. I pulled the top sheet back and there was a drop of bright red blood on the bottom sheet. “Thankful that I could book at the last minute for a group of 5. The check in experience was great. We arrived late (4am) and were able to get right in via an electronic door code. The beds were absolute heaven! Everyone in my group agreed. Best nights sleep I’ve had in months! I was pleasantly surprised to find enough toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, etc to last our entire stay. Usually rentals just give you one roll and you have to supply the rest. “Great location as far as the restaurant is in walking distance and another great restaurant right down the road, just about 5 miles for downtown Mountain View. Beautiful lake to sit on the deck and look at. You can not fish from your cabin, which was disappointing, the cabin is just basic.
