“The manor house is fantastic, really beautiful gardens and surroundings. It is basically in the middle of nowhere, but very close to Chester and to UK's largest outlet. It is a perfect retreat in the English countryside! The hotel restaurant is very priceworthy, good value and nice service. Breakfast was also really good!”

“Hotell som har allt; spa, restaurang, uteplats. Väldigt bra spa med varmt jacuzzi vatten som leder ut till öppen himmel. 2-3 ångbastun, 1 torrbastu och en pool för längdsim. Man fick låna badrock och handduk. Plattång i omklädningsrummet!! Låsbara skåp. Rummet hade allt man förväntade sig, bra strl på badrummet. Frukosten kunde vara bättre men lagomt med innehåll. ”

“The room had a lot of spiders (dead and alive as welll, and spider webs everywhere. Could you see them more properly when the lights were on and you saw them going from the lamps to the ceiling and between the desk and the wall. When they cleaned the room they left stains on the sheets. Breakfast was mediocre, there was no fresh vegetables and the only vegetables they did have were fried mushrooms or baked tomatoes ”

“This is a little gem of a place with the rooms opposite the pub, they could not do enough for us from making us welcome to excellent food and impeccable service. If you’re looking for a bit of quiet and out of town so noises to a minimum this is ideal and we couldn’t recommend anything better, there was nothing to fault. Thank you to the staff who were amazing, this break was awesome given my situation looking after my mother with dementia so felt so relaxed whilst here, the staff really get to...
