âWhat a nice surprise this Inn was. Weâve been to Morro Bay several times & didnât even know this place existed. Staff was very kind & helpful. We stayed in the octopus room. Loved the artwork, colors, cleanliness & access to the balcony. Parking was a little bit of a challenge but thatâs MB on a weekend, easily fixed after the crowds thinned out. We will stay there again.â
âWe found the hotel comfortable and the location great for exploring San Luis Obispo on foot. The room itself was rather dusty and there were some obvious stains on the wall in bathroom, and although we told the reception about it, it was never cleaned up. The hotel has a breakfast buffet that is quite chaotic. There are not enough seats for all the guests and you have to wait around for a seat while your breakfast gets cold. This hotel is good for families but couples may want to find something...

âWe stayed one night at Garden street inn on our road trip down Highway 1, and this is such a lovely place! The room was beautiful, clean and very comfortable, the hotel has a perfect location in the centre of town, and the service is excellent - an amazing home cooked breakfast and tea, coffee and cookies in the lobby.
Overall a great stay, we would absolutely recommend to stay here and weâd love to be back! â
âVery nice place in SLO. The check in was easy and the owner of the hotel was very nice and helpful. Our 2 night stay was comfortable and the place is clean. The only potential issue is a lack of parking if returning late from a night out. I have stayed here before, will stay here again, and recommend it as a SLO lodging option.â

âLoved the location of this place. About a 15-20 minute walk to downtown, or a maybe 5 minute drive.
The entire place was super clean, even while being under construction. The beds were super comfortable, and the rooms were fairly spacious.
Plenty of sitting areas around the hotel, including a tv and games in the main lobby. Breakfast had tons of options for everyone.
Parking was easy (and free). There was a nice restaurant next door also that offered room service! â

Our room was to warm, so they turned of the heater in our room. Perfect service.
The room was cozy and comfortable.
Everything in the neighborhood closed at 9 pm, so the was nothing to do in evening.
Be sure to get some thing to eat before 9 pm and before it gets dark.
The area around the hotel area was good but just a couple of blocks over I wouldnât walk in during the evening/night.
