During my recent stay at Cardedeu Hotel, I was truly enchanted by its perfect blend of luxury and nature. Perched right on the edge of Lake Coatepeque, the views from my room were nothing short of spectacular, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The room itself was beautifully designed, combining rustic charm with modern amenities. The hotel offers a range of activities, from kayaking and jet skiing, making it easy to immerse oneself in the natural beauty of the surroundings. Whether you're looking for adventure or relaxation, Cardedeu Hotel provides a perfect retreat. I left feeling refreshed and already planning my next visit!

I was at the hotel for two nights. The hotel is beautiful but needs to improve a lot. The pool is for kids I’m 5’8 and the height of the pool was below my knees I was crawling the whole time. Jetski are so expensive 100USD for 45 mins are you serious this is a poor country I feel like the prices need to drop otherwise this is not gonna bring tourists to the area. Las palmeras a resturant 2 mins away from Cardedeu is offering jetski for a cheaper price which i feel is worthy. This place(Cardedeu)in my opinion is boring the max of people you are going to see at this place is probably 10 no more than that. And I paid 389USD and they didn’t even give me breakfast something that other hotels would do. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

Nice hotel with amazing views. Clean and hotel staff is nice. Getting in and out of the hotel is a pain. Too steep of a driveway. There are a few restaurants around.

best hotel in the area. We stayed by the lake and loved it at first sight. The staff was always so friendly and polite. we had breakfast at the bistro by the pool and was delicious. We dine at La Pampa and it was amazing, the view, the food , but most importantly the service by Naftali. We wish we had time to stay longer. Thank you

Upon arrival, was greeted and given room keys - the room was not cleaned yet, very disappointed. The staff immediately moved us to the next room - they gave us complimentary breakfast to make up for the situation. Only sad part was the staff told us the lake was ok to swim in, and many reports the following days that the lake is sick and toxic and should be avoided for swimming. I am worried for my health. Please do your research about Lake Coatepeque before swimming or doing any water sports in it.

The view from the room to the lake was beautiful. The staff was nice and helpful and the food at the restaurant was great. I recommend! Also we were excited to find out that there was a slide at the restaurant next door! So fun!

Cardedeu was great. The driveway entrance is a little sudden and could use a bit better signage, but other than that, everything was perfect. They definitely went above and beyond to please us and make sure we had everything we needed. Incredibly relaxing place. Super helpful and friendly staff, most of whom can understand English as well. AC worked great. Would highly recommend.

I loved this place, the only complaint I have is the towels…. They only have 2 towels for 4 people, and no hand towel, no pool towels and no hair dryer I have to asked for toilet paper too…for such a fancy hotel… makes no sense that…. When asked why they told me because people stills them…. What I would travel across to still a cheap towel for Cardedeu Lake front

Staff was helpful but very limited in their English. Rooms were outdated, small bathroom, water temperature unstable (or no water at some point). Pool was dirty (napkins floating at the bottom)… food in restaurant was averall good.

Up a mountain and in the dark hard to spot. But security was tight. I loved it. It was beautiful. Cozy stay. The only place I stayed with hot water in El Salvador.

En general y tristemente le doy a este lugar dos estrellas y la mitad. 1 por la hermosa vista y 2 por el increíble servicio que brinda el staff. Mi esposo y yo nos hospedamos en la suite por dos noches, la comida estuvo y el servicio maravilloso pero el mantenimiento de la propiedad deja mucho que desear… por más triste que suene el lugar apesta, literalmente. El lavamanos tuvo que ser reparado por mantenimiento porque el olor era muy fuerte y el aire acondicionado de la habitación también tuvo que ser revisado dado a que no “aguanta” menos de 22 grados. Afuera del restaurante se siente el olor del desagüe y por el precio de la habitación y el precio de todo en general no vale la pena. Lo único destacable es el servicio de los meseros y recepción y por supuesto la vista, a parte de eso, deja mucho que desear, especialmente por la BUENA fama que tiene. Tristemente no volveremos.

They wouldn’t let me an early check in and could even leave my luggage - no lockers. I had a wedding ceremony at the check in time so I had to go with my bags to the church. Hotel need to improve customer service. And property needs to invest in special needs allocation. Too many steps and ramps made of natural stone

Le site est bien et la vue sur le lac est magnifique. Durant notre séjour de 3 nuits, à 2 reprises il y a eu de grands rassemblements (mariage ou autre) avec la présence d’un DJ et de la musique jusqu’à 03:00 am. C’était très désagréable et cela nous a empêché de dormir. Je ne recommanderais pas cet endroit. De plus, la nourriture est plus chère et moins bonne qu’ailleurs dans la région

The staff is amazing! The view and proximity to the lake is outstanding! The only thing that I was surprised to find was that our room did not have a closet or drawers to store our clothes. Nor was there a safe to secure valuables. However, I felt safe and secure with the hotel and staff the entire time. I would recommend this hotel for families. We’ll definitely be returning!
