I enjoyed the property overall, but there are significant opportunities to improve communication and service, particularly with housekeeping and the kitchen.
Housekeeping needs to be more responsive. It took three days to complete my laundry, and I never received either a price list or an itemized invoice—even at checkout. In addition, requests to housekeeping were not handled promptly throughout my stay.
The kitchen service also requires considerable improvement. I placed an order for three stacks of pancakes at 6:15 a.m. and, by 8:00 a.m., the order still had not been prepared, forcing me to leave without breakfast. I was then told the meal would be packaged for pickup at the front desk, only to learn that the kitchen did not have the necessary takeout containers. If you’re planning to order food, be prepared for potentially long wait times.
Finally, future guests should know that the rooms are stocked only with bath towels. Hand towels and face towels are not provided. I strongly recommend that the property either supply these standard amenities or offer them for purchase in an on-site convenience store so guests do not have to leave the property to buy basic necessities.
With improvements in responsiveness, communication, and attention to these details, the overall guest experience would be much stronger.
