“We really enjoyed our stay. The location was awesome, right off the dock. I prefer to be downtown with walkable access to restaurants and shopping. It was also easy to receive and park our golf cart. The staff was very understanding about my work schedule and the food was great. A few more towel bars and places to hang wet things in the bathroom wouldn't go amiss but we would absolutely stay there again.”

“The marina is very good the food at the restaurant was expensive but taste great We also have a sour experience at the from desk we asked for a water taxi to eluthera airport and they call fo a private taxi without tell us that was private when we got to the island they ask us to pay $70 for the ride that was 10 minutes and for the same ride before they charge us $10 each other than that the experience was nice the beach was very clean and beautiful 😍”

When booking the resort, we reached out several times to ask for advice how to get to the island and resort and we're given false information on travel measures that didn't run, and simply was inaccurate - which in turn led to us not being able to get to the resort at all. I think The Cove did a great job overall for being in the Bahamas, however for this category of luxury resort, they fell short in many ways: They did not accomodate for an early check in, there were several power outages, internet and WiFi outages, there were water outages, the onsite water craft for excursions was not as clean as would be expected, there was a red ant infestation in...

However some of the information we previously received when booking was unfortunately not correct, e.g. the beach was not suitable for a baby and the room couldn't be made completely dark, which was important for us to ensure that napping would be possible for our baby during the day and this was promised beforehand.
