“The Martin House was plenty big & was a historic home! The kitchen & baths had been completely renovated & were nice!! The queen bed upstairs is not a queen…must be a full as we have a queen at home & this was much smaller & too tight for 2 regular size adults! Both of the front bedrooms need a bedside table or nightstands to put night time necessities such as water, Kleenex, nighttime meds, etc. The upstairs shower needs a clean shower curtain & new, clean shower liner & brighter light bulbs...

“The property and house was beautiful. My boys loved fishing in the pond and we loved sitting by the fireplace and the pond. The sunsets there are fantastic. The house was nice and functioned well for our family of 6. It was clean and had all the things in the kitchen and the house that we needed while we stayed there. We would love to come back again.”

“The unit was more than I expected. The cabin was furnished with comfortable seating indoors, a full kitchen, TV, comfortable bed, clean bathroom with a hot shower, and more. I will definitely be booking this place again for another getaway.”

“We decided to book this place because it was close to Garden of The Gods, and it was available at a great price. The view of the Ohio River was amazing.The host was friendly, and the room was clean.The only issue we had was the doorknob to the bathroom would stick, making it a little difficult to get out of the bathroom.”

“Pros: quiet little cabin, tucked just inside from a street. Clean & cozy. Cons 1. Mattress: It was too soft & saggy in the middle. Another reviewer mentioned this too. I wasn't able to get a restful night's sleep. Either my knees or neck would be sore in the mornings 2. Not enough brightness / lights: The interior feels dark - with an okay ceiling light, where 1-2 if the bulbs would slowly go dim as tine went on. Kitchen light was brigther.”
