“We had a great stay! The creek was wonderful to wade in, and the host provided a couple of floaties great for lounging (the umbrella stand in the creek gave us laugh and was very effective)! We enjoyed the sunsets and did lots of puzzles and games on the porch. Only tip for future travelers is we did not have cell service at the cabin - so make sure you have the key code saved on your phone before leaving Kooskia! ”

“It is a quiet home in a close-in location, within walking distance of downtown. The kitchen works well, and the laundry machines are fantastic.The only thing to watch out for is the staircase to the second floor (where two of the bedrooms and three of the four beds are located). This is an older house, and the staircase is very steep. It worked for us, and they thoughtfully put a baby gate at the top of the staircase. If we had a small child, I would not have put him or her in the top...

“We booked this property last minute after our original plans fell through due to wildfires. We could not have been happier, and are so thankful that we did! This property is everything we love, private, remote, has all the amenities as far as a nice kitchen and comfortable beds. We loved hiking in the nearby Nez Perce national wilderness, and on the property itself! My husband enjoyed trout fishing in the beautiful river running through the property. “We held our wedding ceremony here on June 26th 2017 and it couldn't have been any more perfect. This property is absolutely breathtaking! The owner was very kind and went above and beyond to help make our special day be a very memorable one. We fell in love with the area. The pool was a great bonus along with the hot tub.
