The interior of the door frame had evidence of being knocked in, as well. The interior moulding of the door frame was screwed back together in several places. “All the negative reviewers need to adjust their expectations and chill. Econolodge is a BUDGET hotel. No-frills budget. If you want luxury, go to the Ritz-Carlton! My room was clean, bed was comfortable and the staff was accommodating. I arrived 1.5 hours early for check-in and they got me in a room that was in the process of being cleaned within 10 minutes. They could have made me come back! This will be my base of operations from now on when I go to Richmond.”
