“We all had an amazing time in such a beautiful location. Very secluded with a wonderful fire pit. Although we did not have a fire. We did enjoy the hot tub very much. The grill was awesome to use and the chairs on the deck were were terrific. We especially love the springed in court. “Us girls just loved our stay at the Journey Inn. Jenn greeted us and showed us around the cottage and the grounds. We enjoyed the gift shop and bought some gifts for friends back home. The library was also wonderful with so many great books to read. If we were staying longer we definitely would have been partaking. The bedding and towels were wonderful! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would ever need. Thanks again to Brett and Jenn for a wonderful stay!”

“Upsides: Great location, right in Stockholm, so an easy walk to everything in town and to the river. My wife and I were visiting with three adult children plus a significant other, and the cottage had lots of room for us, including a big dining room table and good-sized living room and a big outdoor patio. “This sweet cottage was perfect for our weekend away from everything. The house was very clean and had what we needed to prepare simple meals. It was very quiet, wuth only a few friendly neighbors occasionally driving by. Bring your binoculars! We saw deer, pheasants, racoons, coyotes, cranes, and eagles in the field across the road. Alex responded very quickly to any messages we sent to him.”

“This cottage was the perfect place for my family to spend a few days away. The house has everything you need to make it feel like a home away from home. We loved that everything was an easy drive to lots of different small towns. Plenty to enjoy at the cottage with the fire pit, hot tub, and beautiful property for fishing or just relaxing. We would make this our first pick if we stay in the area again! ”

“It had a nice feel to the place, rooms were hot there is no central ac. there is an ac unit but it only made the living room cold. I did not like that you get charged a fee for cleaning but still have to clean. Area is great and quiet but a ton of mosquitoes so bring off. The bathroom is between the two rooms but did not have locks so it’s hard to know when someone is in there. The beach was small but nice kids enjoyed that. Did not like that you are not allowed to smoke outside on the property...

“What a fun place! Plenty of room. We played foosball had a fire outside. We enjoyed the fireplace too. We hadn’t anticipated no TV though. You might want to add that to your description. The water is definitely smelly, so we truly appreciated the 40 bottles of water you provided. Definitely a great place for a girl’s weekend or family reunion!”
