“This is a lovely little home located in the tiny village of Escalante. The house was well stocked and had all the amenities you might need for a short stay (less than 5 days). My only caution is that if you are planning to use this as a base for a longer stay (over 5 days), there is no washer and dryer. And for those of us who are hiking in the dusty canyons, clothes get dirty really fast! There was also no laundromat in town. Escalante is very small with one grocery store with limited...

“Older home, so not modern or perfectly appointed, but large, clean and comfortable. After a day of hiking it was heaven. Super close to town, convenient to restaurants and grocery (just watch hours, not much open Sunday).”

“This was the perfect place for me to knock off a few national parks! One hour from Bryce Canyon, a little under two hours to Capitol Reef, and in the heart of Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. The house and all of the amenities were excellent, and the view from the porch was perfect! It was in a quiet area and I enjoyed my complimentary coffee on the porch every morning. I couldn't have asked for anything more, and I would definitely stay again!”
