Start your day with the sunrise lighting up the Continental Divide and end it on one of the two expansive decks, watching wildlife and listening to the tranquil sounds of nature. Being so close to the National Park boundary, youâll encounter abundant wildlife right at your doorstep! The property even abuts US Forest Service land, so elk, deer, beer, and other wildlife often pass by quite closely.
The views here are simply spectacular, offering an uninterrupted sightline to the majestic peaks and a star-studded night sky far from city lights. Our serene neighborhood provides a peaceful escape for all guests.

NO SMOKING, NO FIRES
One could stand in the living room and watch the largest forest fire in Colorado history torch our mountains a few years ago. So we are a strict no-smoking property. No smoking inside, outside, and no outdoor fire pits (now illegal in Estes Park's vacation homes). Charcoal BBQs are banned. $500 fines are assessed.
ROAD CONDITIONS
Estes has a great plow team and our driveway will also be plowed during storms, but if there's a huge blizzard, they may not be plowed exactly when you need them to be. We cannot assist if you get stuck and we always recommend that people rent AWD or 4WD when visiting us from October to May. We are at 8,000 feet and this can be a snowy area!

Do NOT leave food in your car! Bears frequent this area often and can break in!

+ Cleaning is super expensive here and I want guests to pay as little as possible. The cleaners offered a deal to keep the rates in the lowest third of homes this size, and I pass the savings on to you! As noted in the listing, I ask guests to pay it forward by starting the dishwasher and a load of towels in the washer. It takes five minutes but saves the cleaners an hour, which saves you money!
