“This property was ideal for my family of four. The location was ideal for location. It was far enough from downtown to be away from the loud noises and crowds, but close enough to be able to walk to within five to ten minutes. There was a guaranteed parking space for us in their private parking lot. The couple who ran it were great to my teenage children. They showed off their pet animals. “Having stayed in the Basin Park on other occasions, we thought we knew what to expect. The day before our scheduled stay, the hotel offered us a free upgrade. We were upgraded to a balcony suite! Very nice and large room in a private part of the hotel. The balcony overlooking the park was private and large enough for a table and 4 chairs. The room had a jetted tub and a sitting area. ”

“Property was very unique, little dated but that's not really a bad thing and too be expected as the entire town is very historic. Bed was surprisingly one of the most comfortable I've experienced away from home. Jetted tub was extremely large and takes forever to fill but worth it in the end. Stayed in the cliffside with very little complaints I would 10/10 stay here again. Walking distance to downtown and always having a place to park nearby especially during busy tourist days is major plus. ”
