“First impression was questionable from driveway. Once inside we were very pleased. Place was VERY clean and up to date. Across the board a great place to stay!”

“Great place, responsive host, secluded location, close to the zoo and other places of interest.One last thing, a word of caution: the driveway up to the house is long, curvy, and STEEP. Try not to arrive to do it the first time after dark like we had to do.”

“We loved our stay here. This cabin is at the end so it offers a bit more privacy than the others. It was beautifully appointed and had all the basics, as well as coffee pods, creamer and comfy bedding. It does not have a fire pit like the other cabins but we were able to start a small fire in the grill. All in all, it was a wonderful and relaxing stay.”

“The resort layout provided great privacy and quiet surroundings. I greatly appreciated the self-check-in/out to the cabin. The cabins and Tee-Pee area shared one shower/restroom area that required an unlock code to use and a $3 deposit for shower use much like a State Park facility. “The front porch sold me on this property. Being able to sit outside and enjoy the view of the trees is so peaceful. I was a little nervous about what the bathroom would be like but to my surprise the bathroom is cute and clean! Everything was perfect! Oh and I totally ordered the pancake from Hiouchi cafe! It is definitely an experience! Haha ”

“This is the ideal halfway’ish point between the Redwood Forest, the coastal Highway, and Crater Lake. After many hours in the car traveling down US 101 and then several more hours getting to O’Brien, it was great to sleep in a nice king sized bed in a cabin. Normally we would show up at our campsite after hours in the car and set up camp, tired, and bickering.
