  • A modern, bright, and quiet apartment on the first floor of a historic building, located along the medieval arcades of Praça de Giraldo, with its famous Henriquina Fountain, from which the main streets radiate and provide access to the city center.
    Sleeping above the arcades and waking up to a view from the balcony window—with its typical wrought-iron railings and imposing weather vane—of the Church of Santo Antão and Praça de Giraldo is a unique and unforgettable experience!

    The apartment is located right in the heart of the historic center, and you can visit all the monuments on foot, without needing transportation.
    There is a taxi stand at Giraldo Square, and buses run frequently. In the historic center, all parking is paid, but the apartment has a free parking space at the Santa Catarina Condominium, about 50 meters from the apartment.

Perfect positioning just off the central square and having an, albeit rather tight, parking space was helpful. The wekco.e gifts of local produce, bread, cheese, wine and free nespresso pods was particularly appreciated as was the huge amount of tourist information and the advice and map provided by Luisa.

The apartment was just as advertised and so well located. Luisa met us and directed us to the car park which is a short walk from the apartment. She had fresh artisan bread for us and cured meat and cheese and a bottle of wine !!!She spent time going through the apartment explaining everything and then also gave us tourist advice re foods and things to do.A lovely stay in a fascinating town.

This is a flat that feels like living in someone’s beloved home and not like a sterile hotel: it has character. Luisa was extremely welcoming and ensured we were well informed and well settled. The flat itself is just off the city’s main square so it is not particularly quiet. The mattress could be due to be replaced, but that is my only complaint. A truly lovely way to live like a local in Evora.

Luisa’s place is perfectly located in Evora and she’s a wonderful, attentive host. The place is extremely comfortable and we stayed for 2 nights wishing we had stayed longer!

Our host was veryhelpful and informative. The location was excellent, on the square and an easy walk to all the sites. Theco do was clean,quiet and comfortable. It was well equipped with many extras- wine,bread,cheese and coffee etc.

*Amazing Host; Luisa is extremely informative and responsive! Very detailed in-brief on Evora (both in-person and electronic)!*One of the best equipped Rentals ever! Numerous appliances, dishes, pots/pans, cutlery; with extras (e.g. wine, bread, cheese, coffee pods) *Fantastic Reserved Parking Space, especially for apartment in Old Town! *Great Location, adjacent to Main Square! *Unique and useful layout of apartment in medieval building.-- only thing I would let potential renters know since you are in an older building there was a slight musty smell. My wife is sensitive to mold, and she did not have any serious symptoms/issues. They seemed to have something like air purifiers to help manage things. Due to all the strong positives, we would not let minor mustiness prevent us from staying at this excellent apartment.

Great historic place

We love the apartment. Location was perfect and the apartment was lovely, clean,spacious and had everything we needed. Luisa was an amazing host, she gave us all information we needed, maps, tips. We had such an amazing experience and stay in Évora.

Absolutely beautiful apartment with everything one needs. Very comfortable bed! Garage parking a short walk away is very nice if travelling by car. Host Luisa is wonderful-great communication and provides suggestions on local sights and restaurants.

Wonderful property, nice touches, great location with parking

Luisa was a wonderful host including during the preparing to arrive process and questions we had. On checkin, she took the time to tell us the important things to see and do in Évora. The apartment was very clean and modern with the touches you could only hope to have at all VRBO properties. Historic Evora

The apartment was spotless and very comfortable. We were right in the center of the historic area and could walk to everything. The little grocery across the street has fresh baked goods for our breakfasts and each and every meal was great. The unit included a parking spot which was ideal for rental car we had for touring nearby towns. We stayed 6 nights.

Beautiful apartment, great location!

The apartment had all the amenities, was immaculate and the location was perfect. Please know that the bed was very hard, and there are steep stairs to the apartment.
