“Excellent property in great location. Challenging to park vehicle and drop off luggage. But we feel the property is worth the effort. Only negative when we were checked in was the AC did not work. Our top floor room with patio was very nice, just quite warm for Us.”

Vehicles and people…it hadn’t seemed like a busy street when we arrived but it turned out to be busy late in the evening and then again in the morning. “The parking is about 5 minutes of the property. That wasn’t that bad , but the place didn’t reflect what the picture showed. It smelled cigarette and the sound of cars passing in front of the property all night long made our sleeping very difficult. The sofa bed was dirty and uncomfortable and it was much smaller than what the photo showed. ”

“This place needs more attention to the interiors. Stained sofa and lots of scraped walls. Main concern for cleanliness was the beds: The bottom sheet was clean, but the duvet covers had obviously not been changed between guests and were soiled (including small blood spots). Looked like they were thrown on the floor (dirt/dust) and then put back on. We found some of the clean linens in the closet, so we ended up changing them ourselves before sleeping in the beds. “Our stay in Evora was absolutely wonderful. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the historic center, making it easy to walk to all the main attractions, cafes, and restaurants. The apartment itself is beautifully appointed and truly lives up to its name, with plenty of natural light and a stylish, comfortable feel. “This was a beautiful spot to stay. Short distance to many sites to see as well as shops, cafes and restaurants!! Only issue was that it was VERY hot as NO air condition! Had 2 very uncomfortable sleepless nights as weather was in high 90’s and open windows did not help!! If you plan to stay at this place during the summer, be sure to bring a fan!”
