“I was in Rm 4, a small twin with ensuite. The window opened (hood) but unfortunately, right onto the alley where the cooking fan vented. It was quite loud but did stop before bedtime. Breakfast was surprisingly included and very tasty. Did not have dinner as there was nothing small that I wanted to eat. I was later told by a customer that you could order half portions of the main menu items. I didn’t realize this and would have done so. Good drafts on tap, staff were friendly but the room...

“This accommodation is very well located in the Kelso town square and within easy walking distance to pubs, cafes and restaurants.The bakery to the left of the front door is outstanding for home cooked morning rolls and beautiful cakes. Apartment 1 is spacious, clean and has everything you need despite the furnishings being a bit dated. Note this accommodation may not be suitable for those with mobility issues due to the stairs to all rooms. This is a great base for trips to Lindisfarne,Bamburgh...

“Colin and Lisa were superb and friendly hosts and the stay was not only comfortable and clean, but also aesthetically pleasing. The breakfasts were well prepared according to taste. We were delighted with our two nights' stay there and will hopefully return soon.”

“Inget varmvatten i duschen första 10 minuterna, sedan så lite vattentryck att det inte gick att tvätta håret (korthårig). Helt kallt på toa/dusch. Spelningen fungerade dåligt, ingen ventilation i rummet. Gamla sängar, billigt sänglinne. På toaletten vid baren var det rent vidrigt, helt ostädat och stank urin. Säger.4-stjärnigt hotell- jag säger 2- stjärnigt vandrarhem til priset av 4- stjärnigt hotell.”
