“We had initially planned to stay at Locanda Poggioleone for three days but we ended up staying for a whole week because we loved it so much. The hotel is located a short drive from Castiglione Del Lago with a great view over lake Trasimeno. The hotel staff is very friendly and hospitable, the pool area is very nice and the rooms are nice & clean. Will definately come back to this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone.”

“If you're looking for quiet and seclusion, this is a great spot. The indoor thermal pool was nice for a half hour or so soak. We had a car and had just come from Sorano and Sovana...would highly recommend both towns. I think there was a walking trail near the hotel, but it was rainy so we decided to drive 45 minutes to Saturnia to the public thermal cascade...fabulous (and free)!!!. We decided to have dinner at a lovely restaurant half way between Saturnia and the hotel, as it seemed too...

“The apartment was dark and outdated. The sofabed felt dirty on the outside. Outside there were plastic furniture to use, also dirty. The pool felt in need of renovation. The staff were friendly and if you are not that picky of the standard it felt homey. We ended up renting another place for a few days, even though we couldn't get the money back, we were quite disapointed.”

“It was a lovely visit to Griffin's Resort on the Tenuta Ponziani estate. The entire area is lining with lavender and olive trees and smells amazing. If you want to disconnect and relax this is the place for you, your friends and your significant other. The spa experience is amazing, and you leave with relaxed muscles and glowing skin.
