“Decent sized room and shower room. Quiet location. Not very far to two decent sandy beaches. A few places nearby to visit, the Lighthouse at Hook Point and Tintern Abbey, ferry at East Passage over to Waterford to name but a few. Enjoyable stay with wonderful weather”

“A beautiful, quiet, peaceful place to stay for 2 nights west of Waterford. Phyllis and TJ were wonderful, delightful and knowledgeable hosts who were a delight to be around. Phyllis is very skillful in the kitchen and the traditional Irish breakfast was a culinary delight. TJ’s suggestion for a seafood restaurant took us to Dunmore East for a wonderful evening. “Check in and staff very good . Room was clean and great blackout curtains. Nice bathroom products. The breakfast was excellent. The bar in the evening was very efficient and had a good atmosphere. ”

I would highly recommend to communicate with the host ahead of time, because while the contact phone number is listed at multiple points on the property, it can be difficult for a traveler without phone service. I was traveling from another country and had data only, I was fortunate to have a local person lend me their phone so I could check in that first evening. That is my only advice for anyone wanting to stay...
