Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Red Door. Finding a place that met our requirements was already a tall order, but this place checked all the boxes. We needed a fenced in yard for our two large dogs, a first floor master suite for my elderly parents, and enough space for 4 adults and two dogs to co-exist under one roof for an extended weekend. The location was perfect. Close to DC and Alexandria. The property manager was very responsive. There was a power outage which turned out to be a city outage, not any fault of the house. She replied quickly to investigate the issue and get the power back on. Luckily the power was only out for only about 30 minutes. The bathrooms and amenities were new which was nice and the upstairs has a full bathroom which was also a great plus. The upstairs/loft area is small but cozy. If you are taller just watch your head as the ceiling is slanted and short. My parents enjoyed having coffee on the front porch and a long driveway was also a plus!
