“I’m not sure where to even start with this review. All I can say is “what a view” every morning we woke up to the beauty of Thomas Pond. Every night we went to bed under a sky full of stars. The home is a perfect lakeside retreat. Comfortable for our family of 3 and 2 more guests in the guest house. We could have all stayed in the main home but the separate homes was perfect for our situation. Fishing, paddle boarding and kayaking off of the pier every day was so much fun. “Absolutely fantastic stay! The house is clean, comfortable and has all the amenities to stay in. However with such a great location to all that Portland has to offer taking a quick walk to whatever strikes your fancy is highly recommended. “The only big issue was that the VRBO listing gave us the wrong address. It sent us to Scarborough instead of Saco. Luckily we were familiar with the area and I knew that Saco was close to Old Orchard Beach, which was mentioned in the listing, so I did a google map search of the same address in Saco and it looked like the pictures. “Our stay at this beautiful home was everything we could have imagined . One minute path to the beach , 10 walk to the pier board walk . Each room was very nicely decorated comfy very spacious ,felt like I was home. Parking was very accommodating , the scenery on top deck was amazing . I would love to come back for more years to come to make it a tradition. The owner was amazing , patient and very kind .”
