“We had an amazing time staying in Kalabaka at the Rock and Stone. It was easy to find, easy to access and beautiful yard to sit and enjoy morning coffee or evening drinks looking into a small gouge. The short walk down into downtown gave us ample cat sightings and more than enough choices of excellent food. The monasteries are a must!!!”

The house indeed had a majestic view, with even an attached sun room/lounge near the entrance where we could sit and watch the sun rise over the rock formations. Nikolaus was also a wonderful and helpful host. He only spoke Greek and we only spoke English - but all was well with Google Translate. We would definitely recommend this to a group of friends or family!”

“This property is a well situated. It's just close to everything. It's clean and well kept. There is no dryer for clothes in the apartment. But they do have a drying rack in the back.”

It’s close to the center of the town, you can easily walk to many restaurants and shops. Great view from the front balcony. We enjoyed our vacation and would love to visit again!”

“Modern apartment with great location just a short walk from several tavernas, gelato shops and shopping. Clean and very comfortable. Two nice terraces. However, advertised as 2+ bathrooms, but had only one toilet so misleading there. Our rental car was sideswiped in the night and the owner was nice enough to let us store our luggage in the secure laundry room while we waited all day for a replacement car. Over all, really enjoyed the apartment.”

“Central location to good restaurants. Meteora tours were easily available and we had a wonderful time seeing the sunset and the hiking tours. Monasteries are awesome.”

“Two bedrooms and the living rooms. Beds were ok. Lots of room in the kitchen. There were laundry facilities but you are not allowed to use them. No shampoo/conditioner/soap in the shower. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Parking was street parking. Neighbor in the next unit was noisy. Difficult to bring luggage up the stairs as the elevator was broken. Fine for one night. ”

“The place was clean, good location. Bed was super hard, like sleeping in a wooden board to be honest. The listing is advertised as “sleeps 4”, we booked for two, but unexpectedly met up with a friend in Athen so we invited him. It was ONE NGHT, very quick stay, we got there in evening. Host charged us 10 MORE euro! I think there should be as many people as the listing says for the price advertised. For this reason I wouldn’t stay here again. Otherwise it was ok.”

“This is a new property in Kastraki, which is a 15 min walk or 5 euro taxi ride from the town of Kalambaka. Kastraki is a small, quaint village at the foot of the monasteries in Meteora. There is a lovely family run restaurant just at the end of the road, and a bakery across the street. The rooms themselves are well designed, modern and comfortable. For a fee, ask about late check out. It’s very much worth it given the transportation options out of Kalambaka. I’d definitely come back again!”
