“This is our second time staying here and again we were extremely happy. As we stayed during Christmas Tom put a tree up for us and also put hooks on the fireplace so we could hang stockings :)The topper for us is when we found a baby gate in the closet!! Tom has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and relaxing - would give 8 stars if I could :) Thank you Tom from all our family :)”

“Nothing seriously wrong with the place, but it should really be stressed that this is one of multiple units on the same property. The other notable complaint is the lack of screens on the sliding doors, which makes them impossible to keep open due to insects, especially after dark. This is particularly troublesome in the "media room", because it has no AC and gets stuffy with multiple people present.”

"Great view from the lakeside rooms - lovely balcony to sit on in the evening and watch the light disappear. Very fresh hotel - do note that the restaurant is closed on Mondays through Wednesday, making dinner plans involve a trip back into Port Alberni."
