“This was my first time travelling to India, and being alone, I was excited but also initially a little apprehensive. The team at Kintsugi took any initial nerves away the moment I stepped foot through the door. This heritage property is an oasis of calm outside of the bustling town that is Udaipur. Within walking distance of the City Palace and lake, whilst also being far enough away that it feels like a calm retreat when needed. The staff made me feel like royalty. The breakfast and omelettes...

“Beautfully restored heritage haveli in a quiet part of town. Lovely courtyard, and excellent rooftop restaurant. Clean, comfortable room, a little oasis of cool and quiet after being in town. Lovely helpful staff, and a very good laundry service.”

“Vi (par) vistades en vecka i Udaipur och fick stor möjlighet att lära känna staden och dess omgivning utan att stressa. Befolkningen i Udaipur är vänliga och trevliga och inte allt för påträngande. Vi trivdes bra på hotellet och återvänder gärna dit vid vår nästa resa till Indien.”

“We enjoyed our stay. This hotel is in the hustle and bustle of the old town. The staff and manager couldn’t be more helpful. The Aircon was good in the bedroom. The roof top restaurant was nice and food was excellent. The building had charm and character. It had been beautifully restored and the furniture was in keeping with its heritage. You need to accept that it’s an old building and isn’t sound proof. If you are a light sleeper you will be woken up by horns and dogs barking. That’s part of...

“ALLT var världsklass!”

“Fantastisk miljö, mitt i City-palace-komplexet. Allt man vill se ligger ett stenkast från hotellet. Trevlig personal, god frukost.”

“It’s a good havali ,clean, well positioned and a lovely roof top drinks area and restaurant”

“View from the room was best i could ever get. Room was clean. Staff was friendly, gone beyond to fulfill the needs of the guests. Hotel is on a great great location. Just a minute away from lake pichola. You could see the lake, the ghat, the pichola market from your balcony. The size of the room was also pretty big. Overall 11/10. ”

“There was nothing unique of this property this property is a scam , ”

“The hotel location was great inside the palace area. the view from the hotel room and the breakfast area was amazing and hard to beat. The staff was very helpful and friendly I had a man that took care of the room he came with a plate of cookies and some fresh fruit. I went out in the evening and when I came back he had prepared the room and bed for the night and left a box of chocolate. it was an great place to stay but only thing was that the room felt a little bit used as for example the sink...

“Only half the rooms had access via elevator. I had no elevator to my room and that also I found out after the room was assigned. Had I known that I would not have stayed there. Was strange building with really narrow tight corridors with stairs. Room rent should not have been more than 1000 Rs!”

“I left very early in the morning but they made me a packed breakfast which was substantial. I forgot when I booked to ask for something on the ground level because using the stairs was an awesome task for somebody who is not very good with climbing.”

“The room was amazing! The staff is super friendly, food and the roof top view pairs perfectly. Cozy common area and the host Arpit who bridges the gap among co-habitants. An amazing place! ”
