“Absolutely loved our stay at the Boathouse. The host (Sarah) and staff (Lauchie) were extremely responsive, friendly and helpful. The view from the main living space was incredible - having dinner on the balcony, overlooking Cameron Lake while the sun was setting was absolute perfection. “The cottage has a great layout for a smallish family gathering and has a great outdoor space. The waterfront is at a quiet and beautiful part of the lake with lots of wildlife and was really nice at sunset and sunrise. ”

“The cottage had everything we needed, with a beautiful view of the water. We were lucky enough to catch a stunning sunset over the lake on our first night, which really set the tone for a relaxing stay. Jennifer is a thoughtful and accommodating host who was easy to communicate with. She offered us thicker blankets in case it got chilly and even upgraded our cottage at no extra cost. Everyone in the community was so friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be returning!”

Floors were dirty and left our socks grey; there was pink mould in the tub & shower stalls, black mould on the water level of one toilet and no one had cleaned the ceiling ventilation fans or behind the toilets in either bathroom. “This well appointed, comfortable and clean location was ideal for our 11 person, multi-generational family reunion. Everything was as advertised and interactions with Warren and Ron were friendly and efficient. Only caveat would be that stairs inside and out are steep, so might not be the best for people with mobility limitations.”
