“For the dollar value, off season rate, it was a great deal. At first glance it is beautiful and the room was impressive with all its lights lit up. But the shock and awe stops there. It was freezing cold, the temperature was 65 degrees not just in the room but in the main common areas as well. I turned on the heat pump, and the fireplace and after an hour I had to call and as for the heat to be turned up. The heat pump was installed in the worst place, with a wall opposite it about 2 feet away,...

“We stayed at this property ahead of moving our son into his university dorm. It was a perfect location, easy to get everywhere and a grocery store only a 5 minute walk. There was plenty of room to store our things and we really appreciated the covered car port. The house was very clean and the owners responsive. We would not hesitate to stay here again. My only suggestion to future guests would be to bring some sugar packets if you like it in your coffee :)”

“Overall an ok stay. Super clean and charming, unbeatable location. Some details could make the experience 5 star. All doors are very squeaky, which was disruptive in the middle of the night. There is virtually no sound barrier between the room and hallway, so it feels like you can hear other people breathing through the walls. The bed was VERY low to the ground and mattress felt cheap and dated. A few improved details would really make this place a hidden gem.

“Staff were very helpful and cooperative, especially Lynn on Front desk. We needed to make a few adjustments to the reservation and she was helpful, friendly and made the process very smooth. Room was clean and spaceous. Adequate gym but cables might need replacing soon. Common areas had adquate seating and were comfortable. Maybe 12 flat screen TVs in the bar / reception / breakfast area are a bit too much !!”

“I haven't stayed at a Holiday Inn since I was a child in the 70's (in Bethesda in Maryland). Nearly 50 years later I stayed at the Holiday Inn at Halifax Airport mainly because of my late arrival at the airport and it was really nice.
I stayed in a suite on the third floor and it was spacious, quiet and very clean.
The staff in general at the hotel were all very pleasent and helpful.
Some of the furniture in the room seemed to be from the 70's and the wooden knives and forks in the breakfast...
