“Upon my arrival I received a genuinely warm welcome from Chris and Julie. My room was beautifully presented and very clean with a modern look. The breakfasts were excellent and Chris was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.”

“Sadly, this was a bad experience. I booked via Expedia where the hotel was advertising a Michelin trained chef and a restaurant. I travelled solo 145 miles for a two night break purely because of this. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to learn the restaurant closed last year. I expressed this disappointment in very civil tones, explaining this was the only reason for my visit. I asked the owner Stacie if I could therefore cancel my second night and obtain a partial refund for it. Stacie agreed...

“Very good B&B in Pickering. Clean rooms, quiet in night. I arrived late in the night and keys were easy to collect. Breakfast was excellent and staff really nice. No problems to arrange early breakfast on my departure day. The temperature in room was perfect for sleeping even in July. Wifi working as you expect. Next time in Pickering i will stay here. Recommended!”
