"The hotel has a lovely location on mid-beach Miami. The art deco decor is fitting albeit a bit dated. My only real negative is that the rooms have no soundproofing. I woke up from people wispering in the corridor. Overall happy with the hotel. Great location, ok pool area, lovely beach area!"

"Old and run down hotel with and a dirty pool. Feels like going back to the 80s. We checked out after one night. Calculate about 150 dollars for a breakfast for two adults and two children at the hotel.. Nice ala carte breakfast though. You were not allowed to drink anything at the pool, but if you lost your towel card, you have to pay $25. Be alert with the hotel butler at the entrance. He "helped" us with a taxi which cost us 100$ and our friends who took an uber paid 25$. When you check in you have to pay a deposit of 285$ of which you only get 200$ back. Miami hustler style with a good location. "

"I cannot recommend this hotel as it simply lacks the basic understanding of service. Why you might ask? In our booking we had the right to: - Early check in if available - Late check out if available - Room upgrade if available - A bootle of wine We also managed to get a room with a broken refrigerator that was making a high noise all of the night leading to a really bad night of sleep, until unplugged by us. We asked for late check out, as flight home was late, and was given from 11 to 12, anything longer was 50 USD. We explained about the missing wine and the broken refrigerator, late check out became 13 and we got a bottle of wine on the departure day, because we asked - not because they were trying to keep the promises of the booking. Service is delivery on expectations, good service is delivering above expectations - this hotel don't do any of it. On top of it there is also a lack of work passion and some rudeness from the reception staff, especially on the check out day. Last, seeing the comments made from the hotel on other guests reviews that had issues I truly wonder if management have an interest to improve, I'm far from convinced. And as a consequence we are not willing to spend our dollars in the bar nor in the restaurant, which is sad as they are doing a good job and all ok breakfast. For sure we will not come back and can only recommend others to chose a different hotel where you get more value and service for your money. "
