âThe Beach House felt classy yet cozy, unlike a large resort. We stayed in a ground floor suite and truly appreciated the ability to walk out our door and onto the beach in mere steps. All the staff were welcoming and helpful. The location was amazing. Half moon bay has a beautiful well maintained beach with plenty of food options close by.â
âWell kept!! The ocean view was really nice.. We could walk to some shops and Resturants which was nice..The Maid service wasn't great. High prices on everything in the resort.. who wants to pay $8.00 for a little package of M&Ms? To me that was ridiculous.. The resort was really nice till all the families brought their kids and left them unattended in the pool area. Overall the resort was really nice..â
âI love this place. Iâve stayed here before and I canât wait to stay here the next time Iâm in RoatĂĄn. Iâve made friends with many resort owners on the island during my visits and this is my go to place. The gardens are beautiful. The staff are AMAZING! It is super walkable to west end. âMe and my husband and 13 year old daughter stayed here for 2 weeks .. this little hotell is located in a djungle like tropical location with beuatiful surroundings .. still its just a 5 min walk to Sandy bay with great snorkling and 2 good restaurants .. you can easily go to west end by bus or taxi only 5 min ride or walk apx 20 min to west end so the location is perfect for both relaxing and close to bars and restaurants in west end .. the food and drinks at the hotell are very good and fresh...
âI traveled with my two teenagers and they loved the lodge they liked the feeding the animals too. I appreciated the free breakfast and the quick walk to the beach. Celeste, the owner was amazing and Lorelei at the front office also! Super helpful and helped me with horseback riding for my daughter and charter fishing for my son. Cannot recommend West Bay Lodge enough! We are going back next year too!â

âMy stay at the Reef House was exactly what I wanted. It has the old Roatan charm to an old dive shop that has the most welcoming staff I have ever met. From the owner Davey to Keith the IT/Bartender and the friendliest cook staff that makes great down home cooking. David the dive master has been out on the reef longer than most have known about Roatan. He knows some really cool places to see.â
