“We had a wonderful stay at Kitty’s cottage. The cottage is so homely and feels really welcoming. It’s lovely and warm, even when the weather outside was freezing. It was super clean and very well equipped. We loved walking on the beach, which is only moments away, with such beautiful views. Driving over Galloway forest park, we stopped to feed the goats and deer, which was wonderful. You need to take your own carrots or other fruit / veg to feed them. “The cottage itself was lovely. A really nice chilled week, however the property just required a bit of TLC, it is just looking a bit tired and rough in some areas and the cleanliness was average to say the least. Some plates had been put away dirty and there was cobwebs in several of the rooms. The location was pretty good and it was only 30 minutes in to Glasgow and Ayr is nearby. Overall I would give a 7/10.”

"Inte lyxigt, inte en massa kuddar, handdukar och fina hygienprodukter, inga sängbord eller sänglampor. Hyfsad frukost. Man blev mätt av middagsbuffén, inte jättegott men helt acceptabelt. Fantastiska omgivningar, service-minded personal, bra Wi-Fi, nära till färjor. Som sagt, inte lyxigt, inget extra men bäst pris/prestanda på hela vår Skottlandsresa."
