The amenities are top notch, Miele appliances, DeLonghi coffee maker and delicious coffee, nice cutlery, pots and pans, crate and barrel dinnerware. Felt like home! The wooded setting was so relaxing and peaceful. Easy to get to all the top spots in Door County.”

“Property- lovely, clean, ample room for a group. Disappointed with a few aspects of our stay. First night - could not get in. Host tried to remotely fix the issue; ultimately we had to wait outside for 20 min for them to come access a garage to let us in. We learned it had been a problem with the previous guest & that they had gotten in through an open window. We were advised to leave the house unlocked if we went out because they would be with their grandchildren the next day & unavailable....

“The Birch Retreat apartment accommodations were very nice as described. Great large shower, but not a full kitchenette (only sink is in bathroom) but owner added lots of accessories to make it easy to do basic things. The property (and one other adjacent Plum Retreat apartment that I know of) is connected to lovely & gorgeous new Secret Gardens with a new small shop & on-site events developed by the owner; the Birch apartment is a renovated part of the re-development of the former Green Gables...

“Beautiful home; ample space! Great kitchen area for games with family. Game room was not what we had expected as they were located in the garage. Although this was fine, it was not what we had anticipated -- garage was too cold to really enjoy. That was only part of listing that felt misleading. Otherwise, the property is gorgeous, the hot tub is new, lovely porch chairs .. hosts are friendly and super accommodating! ”
