Booked 2 King studios. Terrible location, back of complex, only window looking out back onto walkway used by everyone so you needed to close blinds for privacy so no natural light and as walkway used by everyone constant noice. I booked 2 studios, but if I'd realised they were so bad, i would have happily spent extra to get a 2 bedroom room. So as far as the resort goes, it was bad. Maybe we were punished for using a booking agent.
Went to Foxys for cocktails, told not enough staff to make them so headed to Zephrys but couldn't order a cocktail until we went thru the process of booking a table, then waiting 5 minutes for a staff member to take our order, then waiting 25 minutes for our order not to arrive, to be told a mix-up had occurred with order. Told them to cancel order, which was agreed, and moved to Roxy's. All good but had to fight on check out to stop payment for cocktails being charged for drinks never received. Went to Roxys and ordered dinner. Brother in Law ordered Burger before me. Advised him they took Frozen Burgers from freezer and dropped in deep frier. Thought a little amusing but when burger arrived it was so burned black. Urged him to return but he said no, at end of meal confirmed terrible, other meals okay...dont buy the burger.
So if you stay at Fitzroy resort don't use king studios, rooms 102 & 104 worst ever.
