My biggest critique is for the lack of care of the largest gathering place = The Pool. “Excellent property, we've been visiting for 15 years and we love it. This time though the staff seemed disconnected and rude. We are always welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine, this time just a bottle of water and then served the wine just when asking. We travel as a big family and booked a studio and a 1 room suite, and as everyone who knows this property also knows this types of rooms when together can be connected as a big apartment. The rooms and bathrooms were a bit worn out but the staff were very service minded.
We had to change room few times due to humidity and fungi smell. The staff were responsive, helpful and never got defensive when asking for a change.”
“To start with, when booking this stay we were not aware that this room was actually located at Villa La Estancia. Why was this called Beachside Escape?
The room was nice but the balcony was shared with the larger unit next door. We were not aware of this and felt awkward using this space. We also felt that it could be a security risk. We noticed a lot of the balconies had partitions up for these reasons.
We had a mini fridge, coffee maker but could not plug in the coffee maker as the cord was...
“Great new hotel, despite not having direct access to the beach, it was super comfortable, the pool area on the top is really nice (with 2 warm jacuzzi) and great views , rooms are super nice and clean (with partial sea view in the room we got), excellent breakfast, 24/7 parking garage FREE, without valet parking (we had bad experience before), and beach is literally 5 minutes away walking, definitely recommend the place for what you get and the price (it is even more worth it than some hotels...
