“The room was cute but very small — I had read the reviews and knew this before arriving. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept very well. We really enjoyed swimming in the pool and mingling with other guests. The host was wonderful! We accidentally dropped one of our keys in the parking lot, and she found it and kindly put it back in our lockbox for us. Overall, we had a great stay!”

“Was looking for a place to stay while in town for the powerboat race. The Douglas House fit the bill perfect perfectly. Although it is just off Duval it is in a quieter part of the neighborhood. The rooms are spacious, the bed comfortable, and the AC was quiet and worked well. There is a lovely pool area (where I saw mostly couples) and also a small veranda outside each room with seating area to relax. “What a perfect location! We were able to walk almost everywhere and were able to Uber everywhere else. The room is SMALL, but it’s super clean and comfortable. Communication was A, and the dehumidifier was the perfect addition. We would definitely stay here again and again. ”
