“We had a great time, living room was super cozy and adjacent kitchen was extremely convenient, WiFi was fast enough for streaming as advertised, however was not fast enough for Remote Desktop connection for work so we had to check-out a night early. Just a small nitpick not too serious, we had a hotspot with us just in-case but we had very poor reception for it so that wouldn’t work either, that’s not their fault no worries there”

“The cottage was our home away from home for a week while visiting our cousin who is going to school at UM in Ann Arbor. The home is a short drive (25-30 min) from the Big House, so it was perfect for a UM football weekend. If you're looking for a quiet escape with EVERYTHING you could think to need for a week on the lake, this is it. Our family of 5 had an amazing trip out from CA. Can't wait to be back.”

It was about. 2 minute drive to downtown and the perfect place for us to stay while having a golf tournament at The Fortress. Check-in/Check-out was a breeze! Paula and Scott were so accommodating! It's tucked away in a small neighborhood right next to downtown Howell, nice and quiet on an inlet to the nearby lake, with everything you would want within 5-10 minutes (groceries, restaurants, pharmacy, etc.). “Due the weather we did not use the hot tub or lake activities. The home is well maintained, clean and as advertised. The host was available to answer questions. Instructions tor arrival were clear. Two minor issues: The house number is not available from the street. It would be nice if the number is on the house by the street. There are four ceiling fan/light remotes. The batteries were dead or missing, so the controls wouldn't work. We replaced the batteries so we could control them.”

“I was happy with my stay. The property is an old farm house that's been split into 3 different rentals, and I was in the smallest. It did not have a full kitchen, but I think that's reflected in the price. The setting is peaceful and pretty, and I saw a LOT of deer!
