We were not happy with the apartment experience, as we would have liked the services of a concierge for taxi and eating places. I thought the cleaning fee of 40 Euros was high for only a 2 day stay. It was hard for us to get our suitcases up and down the narrow stairs. We had difficulty in contacting a person to greet us at the apartment upon arrival.
We had another 'unusual" experience one morning when we were suddenly awakened at 6 AM for a medical emergency for a man living one floor below us.
Firemen and emergency personnel were present and we couldn't communicate with them as to the nature of the problem and whether it concerned us.
We had difficulty getting the internet to work and had to call for the technical person who closed down the router and then started the system again. This person came within one-half hour! We, also, had to restart the router later because of non-functioning internet. We needed the internet for communication as our phone was not working in Europe.
We probably won't try another apartment experience.
