60 kvm lägenhet i en byggnad 2011 med hiss utrustad med alla bekvämligheter: privat täckt parkering, terrass, luftkonditionering, gratis Wi-Fi, 50 tums tv med kabel-TV, tvättmaskin, fullt utrustat kök inklusive mikrovågsugn, ugn, diskmaskin , kyl och frys. Perfekt för att lära känna Florens och besöka Toscana. 10 minuters promenad från Porta al Prato och 20 minuter från järnvägsstationen och Santa Maria Novella, nås från Porta al Prato med två spårvagnshållplatser; Duomo är ungefär en halvtimme från lägenheten.

Beautiful apartment and absolutely charming and helpful host. It was blazing hot while we visited Florence and the apartment was such a comfortable stay to finish off the day. A wonderfully decorated and artful space to rest, relax and unwind.

This well appointed apartment has everything that you could possibly need for either a short stay or like us a stay of over two months. It is centrally located and is exactly as described. Massimo couldn’t be any more delightful and it was a pleasure staying in his condo. Part of the reason that we had such a lovely time is because of this condo.

Lovely stay..

My husband and I enjoyed our stay.. It was close to the city center - about 1mile away, we love walking, and it was nice to stay in a local neighborhood but close enough to great shops and restaurants and all the sites in Florence. Our host was lovely, he was very helpful friendly - we were able to park our rental car in secured parking garage a well. The apartment was a very clean with a nice balcony ;)

Bezauberne Unterkunft

Sehr nette kommunikation mit Massimo, der uns auch tolle Tipps und Informationen gegeben gat. Die Unterkunft ist fußläufig vom Bahnhof erreichbar. Die küche ist gut ausgestattet und die Betten sehr bequem und dank der Fliegengitter ist schlafen bei offenem Fenster problemlos. Rundum schön und gerne wieder :-)

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine à Florence grâce à l’appartement cocooning pour le repos du soir.Massimo est un hôte très serviable,il nous a beaucoup aidé après un gros problème automobile.je recommande vivement cet appartement.merci Massimo.

Wonderful stay in a lovely apartment

We spent a week in this apartment - and would happily have stayed longer. It is beautifully furnished with a balcony and blind - perfect for sitting out in the evening sunshine. Massimo was a perfect host - he met us on arrival, check in was simple, everything was clean. It is a short walk of around 20 minutes to the very centre of town/Duomo. We would stay again if we return to Florence. Richard and Angela

Un appartement situé à 300m de centre historique de Florence. Un appartement de luxe, tout confort, il ne manquait rien, une place de parking dans le garage de l'immeuble à coté de l'ascenseur. Et un propriétaire adorable.

Wonderful accommodations

Staying at Massimo’s apartment really contributed to our enjoyment of Florence. It is a short walk to the center of the city, away from the bustling crowds. The apartment is beautifully appointed, with interesting books and art; so very Florentine. The bed was deliciously comfortable. Massimo is a wealth of helpful information about where to go and what to do in Florence He is a helpful and gracious host.

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes und sauberes Appartement¡ sehr praktischer Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage, von der man mit dem Aufzug schnell direkt zum Appartement kommt¡ hilfsbereiter, netter Vermieter¡ 30 Minuten Fußweg ins Zentrum, 10 Minuten Fußweg zur Haltestelle vom Elektrobus ins Zentrum.

modern Florence

Florence experienced very high temp. up to 40 C. and that meant a long walk in heat to the tram. going to the train station and the old Florence. You have to walk in Florence. The apartment was nice, well decorated and comfortable. It served our purpose well and there was a supermarket near by. but not much else.

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans le logement. Massimo nous a accueilli avec une grande gentillesse et nous a renseigné très précisément. L'appartement est très chaleureux, propre, bien décoré et équipé de tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin, comme chez nous! Il est bien situé : on peut y garer la voiture, puis se déplacer à pieds (15-20 minutes pour arriver dans le centre de Florence, ou à la gare) ou bien avec les transports en commun. Le tram pour l'aereoport passe pas loin. Le grand Parc des Cascine est à 5 minutes, pour balades ou jogging. Nous avons dit à Massimo que nous reviendrons !

Excellente adresse proche du centre historique de Florence

L'appartement de Massimo est trés agréable, au calme et parfaitement équipé. La literie est excellente. Massimo nous a extrémement bien renseigné par rapport à ce que nous voulions visiter et nous a promulgué d'excellents conseils sur les transports et restaurants. Le garage mis à disposition nous a permis de venir avec notre voiture et découvrir la Toscane inaccessible sans voiture : Val d'orcia, Sienne... La proximité de la gare principale permet aussi de découvrir en train Pise et Luccas, ville médievalle charmante et peu connue Massimo parle très bien le français, ce qui est un plus pour échanger. Adresse fortement recommandée

We had a great 5 day stay at Off the Grid! The location could not have been better. We wanted seclusion from the hustle and bustle of a resort, and OTG didn't disappoint. There was a generous buffer between us and the other houses in the area on Chalk Sound, which gave us the privacy we were hoping for. The pool deck was a perfect place to begin a day of exploring, and to wind down afterward with a cocktail and enjoy the evening breezes and views. And the sound was only a few steps away down the trail below the pool. What a cool place to hang out with an evening snack! Each room in the home has it's own AC unit, so it was easy to personalize the temperatures (mostly we just propped the front door open and let the cool breeze blow through the large twin double glass sliding doors) The power allotment is easily manageable if your party is aware of the need to be frugal. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare the only meal we had in the home; there was just too many good choices to eat out! There were even sharp knives! Not having them is always a let-down to the "amateur chef" in me. If you like to cook for your crew, you'll have what you need. The master bedroom has a very comfortable bed, and the master bath was recently redone to include a walk-in glass shower. A nice touch! The hosts had just recently replaced the beach chairs before our arrival, which was a really nice option to have on the trips we took to the various beaches and bays across Provo.

Not what we thought we were getting!

This rental is NOT in Centro Storico as advertised. It is too far to walk from the train station and even a walk to Centro is at least 25 minutes. There is some bus transportation but our host knew nothing about it and simply suggested that we walk. I had had a fall at our our previous stop and had limited mobility and this was not the place we had expected. I must add that the apartment itself is lovely and is in a quiet location. So quiet that the horses pulling the carts in town stay nearby. However I was surprised to find the fridge full of food including half used food. Then I discovered that the closet held clothes that belonged to our host. The dresser drawers in the bedroom where full of his personal clothing as well. It just did not feel right to us. We had just come from a ten star VRBO in Rome that was beyond perfect. We never felt comfortable here. However our host was there for us when we had to go to the police as my husband had been pickpocketed. We had received no instructions as to what to do with the garbage ( the outdoor bins required a key which we did not have and the host never replied to my email/text ) so we had to leave it inside the apartment when we left. Another concern was the lack of places to eat ( there were only two ), to purchase a coffee and croissant in the morning, it was very far from everything. I have never given such a low review before and in all honesty the host is a lovely individual and his home is wonderful but it just was not for us. Perhaps I should have read between the lines more. I certainly questioned the lack of recent reviews and accepted his reply. It is not easy for me to be so brutally honest but I have to tell the truth. If you are a healthy long distance walker and don't mind someone else's things around you then this is the place for you.

Sehr freundlicher Vermieter und eine toll ausgestattete Wohnung. In der Küche war alles da, was wir brauchten. Der Vermieter hatte sogar schon einige Lebensmittel für uns bereit gelegt.

Escapade Toscane

Belle découverte de FLORENCE avec ses musées et bâtiments tous plus beaux les uns que les autres. Beaucoup de monde mais dans l'ensemble bonne organisation. L'appartement était confortable et aménagé avec beaucoup de goût. Massimo nous a fort bien accueillis. Il laisse beaucoup de choses à disposition. Nous recommandons cet appartement.

Un appartement chaleureux et confortable à Florence

Tout d'abord l'emplacement parking gratuit est parfait et permet de laisser la voiture durant tout le séjour sans souci. L'accueil par Massimo est très précis, ponctuel, très aimable et les informations sont très complètes. L'appartement, récent, situé à 20-25mn à pieds de l'hypercentre est très confortable et douillet. Le bus 17 nous amène directement à La Galleria Dell' Academia. C'est un bonheur d'y retourner le soir après une journée de visite! Même en hiver le bonus balcon est à signaler pour boire un thé en rentrant! Un logement dans lequel on a envie de revenir pour un prochain week end à Florence! Merci pour l'accueil!
