  • Discover the "Brunelleschi" apartment by WP Relais, situated in the heart of Florence just off the prestigious Via Tornabuoni. Located a short distance from the River Arno, this exclusive residence is located inside the historical Palazzo Berardi, dating back to the 1600s. The neighbourhood is surrounded by traditional Tuscan restaurants, high-fashion boutiques such as Gucci, Ralph Lauren and WP Store, as well as grocery and convenience stores.
    The apartment, which can accommodate up to six people, occupies the second and top floors of the building and is accessible by lift. Beautiful and unique space. Location was perfect. Was advertised as having a washing machine & elevator when we booked. No washing machine or elevator (due to construction) but was worth the climb.Highly recommend staying here.

The master bedroom was cool and dark, just the way we wanted it. Our family of 5 had plenty of bathrooms. There was a Nepresso maker and a standard coffee maker, which we enjoyed. We couldn’t find very many eating utensils- there were a few in the top rack of the dishwasher. My favorite feature of the house was the large open windows, with views of the bustling street and the Arno. The place is in a great location. As others mentioned, the master shower leaks on the floor and there isn’t a clothes washer. Overall, the place has a great ambiance and we considered it to be a good value for our family.

Convenient location

Family of 6 traveling to Florence for first time. Excellent communication with the property manager. We had a chef come and he did a pasta cooking class for us which was a lot fun. Very convenient and easy walk to the main sites.

Florence short stay

A short stay in Florence with family and friends. 3 couples and the apartment worked really well. Location is excellent and we had an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Great communication with Pietro - thanks! Would happily stay again.

Great location!

This was an excellent stay. Highly recommend. Only suggestion is that couch bed could be better. And we desired a few more blankets in the apartment. Overall very good stay!

Beautiful place. My family of 5 (adults) loved it. Great location. Nice to have three bathrooms. Only problems: construction as others have noted. Messy stairwell and a lot of narrow stairs to get into the flat (elevator is out) Then once inside more narrow stairs. We are young and strong so it was inconvenient but manageable. I feel sure the owner knew this would be happening but disclosed it rather late, too late to make a change. One of the showers upstairs leaks. It’s not caulked. There was a lot of water that ran out onto the floor. Also there is a white powder that shows up on all the surfaces in the main area. We kept wiping the tables only to find them covered again a short time later. All of that aside, I would stay here again in a minute. Great location. Nicely apportioned. Has all we needed. Responsive hosts. Large enough for a family. Good AC (although initially there were issues with the breakers flipping and all of the AC turned off. The host resounded immediately). Aside from construction and a couple maintenance issues, it was an A stay.

This property has amazing potential. Unfortunately, a construction project was taking place while we were staying here. Due to the construction, the elevator was out of order. It is a long, four-flight set of stairs with luggage. For some reason, the washer had to be removed during construction, so no washer. And lastly, the electricity went out in part of the apartment. This impacted the virtual key, so only the person carrying the emergency set of keys could enter the VRBO. The property owners reimbursed us 10% of the cost for our inconvenience. The best part of the VRBO was the two bedrooms on the third floor of the apartment. They were quiet, individually climate-controlled, with small in-suite bathrooms, and you could adjust how dark you wanted the room with the blackout shade. Even with a working elevator, keep in mind the apartment is split into three floors with narrow stairs between each floor. It's not ideal for individuals with mobility problems. I'd love to stay here again and try the apartment without construction.

A great apartment in the heart of Florence. A quick walk to all the local attractions with great restaurants just outside your door. Check-in was easy and the apartment was well setup with all of the necessities you would need. Lots of room on 3 floors for our family four to stretch out. Would definitely recommend.

Florence with family!

Our family really enjoyed this apartment! There are 3 levels, with the loft and bedrooms at the top which we didn’t fully realize when booking, but it made for a lot of extra space. The extra large living area downstairs, high ceilings and 3 bathrooms were great. With a lot of original character, the apartment still felt new and clean. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent property and location. As described in reviews, there are a lot of steps but completely manageable. Responsive host. Only negative was that lights in the common stairwell were inoperable at night.

Great location

Great location and easy access to most of Florence. The apartment was lovely, plenty of space for us all and AC units in each bedroom. The only issue we had was accessing the apartment, we didn’t receive check in access and had to call to receive it. But otherwise all was wonderful and perfect for us.

Loved our stay in Florence!

Location is an area with many stores and walking distance (5 mins) to many restaurants and attractions, we walked to everything. We had a group of seven persons and the three sleeping areas worked out well for us, just note that one of the beds is in an open loft area. Also, lots of steep steps in the apartment so keep that in mind with young kids and elderly. The check in was fantastic as well as all the communications. We got in to Florence early and were able to leave all our bags with the host and came back later to check in - this was GREATLY APPRECIATED. They even moved our bags to the apartment for us, WOW!

Great location. Front door entry wasn't great. I couldn't get it to work on my phone, but it worked for my wife. The stairs are rough, so not a good choice for the elderly. We managed but it wasn't fun with luggage. Location was perfect. Close to everything but not a real busy street. Overall a nice place.

Amazing location and lots of steps!

The apartment is exactly as pictured - great space for a family or large group. We used the kitchen every morning for breakfast and sat around the table every evening sharing stories and playing games. The location is amazing - you can walk to anything from the apartment within 15 minutes (the train station, every major attraction and great shopping). Be aware, that if you have anyone who is not super mobile, there IS an elevator to the apartment, but within the apartment itself all of the bedrooms require very steep stairs. We would stay there again - super quiet, very clean and fantastic location.

Great location beautiful rental

We were a group of 7, all adults this location was great. 10 to 15 walk to almost everything. The rental was great, and beautiful. This may have been my fault but we had an elderly person with us and it was a little hard for her to use the stairs, but we made it work. Both bedrooms are up on top of 3 floors. Middle flóor was the loft which had a sofa bed. Overall I thought the vrbo was great. Thank you
