“We had a great time at FINCA el Refugio de Papito. The experience will stay with our family forever. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a Pura Vida experience. Whether it was fishing in the pond, seeing the sloths, macaws, iguanas, turtles or herons it was fantastic. Their offers of fresh coconut, plantains, and fresh cane juice were well received. Highly recommended and we hope to be back one day. Muchas gracias!”

“The host was amazing, she showed us around their beautiful gardens and explained different plants. The cabin is new and very comfortable. The view from the shower was pretty cool”

“★★★★★ We had such a wonderful stay at this property! The owners, a lovely Swiss couple, are truly kind and beautiful people who made our experience feel incredibly warm and personal. They went above and beyond to make our stay special, and it really showed in every detail. The kids absolutely loved the heated jacuzzi—it was a highlight for them! And the breakfast each morning was delicious, fresh, and clearly made with care. This place has such a welcoming and peaceful atmosphere, and we’re...
