“There’s about 10 of them that look like this all together. Very old, and very cozy! When I first walked in trying to find the lights all the floors creaked. Love it!They are fully stocked on everything. Especially for cooking which we planned on. Very pleased, and it’s VERY clean.”

“The host had great communication with us about check-in and checkout. My GPS took us to the wrong place. It was a little challenging to see the road signs at night so my advice is to arrive during the daylight. The cabin was perfect for a romantic mountain getaway. We loved sitting in front of the fireplace on a cold winter weekend. Meadows of Dan is quaint.”

“Our stay at the remote cabin was enjoyable and comfortable. The amenities furnished helped make our stay relaxing. There was nothing lacking. We woke to a chilly 38 degrees outside but the cabin was warm. Pat is a fine host! Glad we had a truck to cross the small stream on our way up to the cabin.”

“Honestly such an amazing and relaxing stay for my family. My father in law, mother in law, and husband went up north from Jax, FL due to a memorial service for my father in law’s brother. My FIL is handicapped and uses a walker, and although it’s not purposed to be handicap friendly, it was very accommodating and spacious in which he was able to maneuver with ease throughout the property. “Very cozy and clean home surrounded by beautiful wood lot. We loved how close to the main road it was, and the quick 5 minute drive to downtown Floyd. The view from the loft was spectacular. The queen bed we slept in on the main floor was comfy, the shower felt wonderful with the rain shower head, and the kitchen was well stocked.
