“The host had great communication with us about check-in and checkout. My GPS took us to the wrong place. It was a little challenging to see the road signs at night so my advice is to arrive during the daylight. The cabin was perfect for a romantic mountain getaway. We loved sitting in front of the fireplace on a cold winter weekend. Meadows of Dan is quaint.”

“Very cozy and clean home surrounded by beautiful wood lot. We loved how close to the main road it was, and the quick 5 minute drive to downtown Floyd. The view from the loft was spectacular. The queen bed we slept in on the main floor was comfy, the shower felt wonderful with the rain shower head, and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed sitting by the firepit on the deck and watching deer forage in the woods nearby. It was really a peaceful and serene getaway, and we definitely plan on...

“We really loved our stay. We were two families and there was plenty of room for all 8 of us. Everything was well appointed and clean. Had everything we needed to make our meals. And to top it off, we were greeted with chocolate chip cookies and a pound of ground coffee - both were delicious. Definitely recommend this house if you are in the area!”

“We picked this property because it is close to our family’s Thanksgiving celebration and it is pet friendly. It was comfy, warm, and exactly as shown on the VRBO app. I did bring some of my own kitchen tools, but found the place well set up and I was able to easily prep for the dishes I bring. Definitely would stay here again!”
