“House was as advertised . Pictures were true to the cottage. Home was well equipped ( could use lobster tools?We bought cooked fresh lobster from a place on the coast amazing. But it would have helped if there was some utensils to deal with it. that being said great spot. Could use an update but we knew what we were going to stay in . All great ,”

“Beautiful 3 bedroom home on waterfront property with nice deck. Everything needed was provided. 15 to 20 minute drive to Twillengate shopping area. Quiet area for after dinner walks around the bay. Highly recommended. ”

“Absolutely loved this home, clean, comfortable, had all the amenities that you could possibly need. Loved sitting on the deck watching the fishermen pulling traps, the privacy and sunsets. Definitely would recommend it to family and friends.”

“We were thankful all of the beds for our party of 6. The place was clean and spacious. Appreciated the full kitchen, two bathrooms, spring water and laundry available (didn’t use). Beautiful view, saw jellyfish in the water. The decor makes you think about the past and how people used to live but also how to upcycle “old” furniture. Nice, comfortable stay, thank you! ”

“A beautiful view in a lovely quiet cove. Very peaceful. The property had most amenities we needed for our family. Comfortable beds, lots of towels, well equipped kitchen & nice deck & bbq. Also nice fenced yard for our dog. What was also noticed were some maintenance issues. The clothes dryer in kitchen area was extremely noisy & not usable. Some of the windows needed work, we could open but they would not close properly & had broken mechanisms. There was no propane firepit as advertised. A...

“Fantastic place!!! We all loved the amazing cottage, decor, size, it has everything you need to cook and have a very comfortable stay. And the Location!!!! Superb!!!! ”

“We really enjoyed our stay in the Saltbox house. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. Janice was very responsive to any questions that I had, and was free with required recommendations. One thing to note is that only one of the bedrooms had an attached bath. We loved the art work all around and all the furniture.”

“Though this property is a drive from Twillingate it was well worth it. The property is beautiful, and the owner has made the place comfortable and has everything you would need. Marie was wonderful to deal with, prompt and helpful. We hope to be back in a year or two!! ”
