Villa Cortona is a beautiful newly restored villa with annexe and private swimming pool, spa,jacuzzi and gym situated in a strategic position to visit many of the most
famous cities such as Cortona, Arezzo, Florence, Siena, Montalcino, Montepulciano and Pienza.

This villa is ideal for visiting a different city every day given the perfect location and for a relaxing holiday and therefore spending
the days in the wonderful park, doing gymnastics in the gym located in the middle of the greenery or pampering yourself in the spa between a Turkish bath,
sauna and a massage in the splendid Jacuzzi with relaxation room overlooking the splendid outdoor swimming pool.

The owners worked hard to renovate this ancient rural complex, firmly maintaining the characteristics of its time: here every stone has been recovered and reused
and every view, every scent speaks an ancient and true story but at the same time their desire was to create an eco-sustainable structure with renewable energy and here is, Villa Cortona.


As soon as you cross the entrance gate, you find yourself literally immersed in a wood,an unexpected and magical scenario, an enchanting atmosphere.
Going along the dirt driveway you'll reach a wooden pergola ideal to park 6 cars.

Walking up the stone path, among lavender, rosemary and sage bushes, you reach the house.

VILLA (sleeps 10+2 )
GROUND FLOOR:
Shady alfresco dining area which leads to the main entrance :an excellently equipped kitchen with a table for 12 people, which will make you want to cook and eat in conviviality every day.
A beautiful and bright lounge with sofas, chairs, fireplace, and satellite TV, an open studio and a bathroom (toilet, basin) complete this floor.
From here you access, via a travertine staircase, the upper floor with stone floors and wooden ceilings.
FIRST FLOOR
4 Double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and 1 twin bedded room (on request the beds can be joined) with ensuite bathroom.
On request,in 2 bedrooms, it is possible to add an extra single bed.
BASEMENT :
From the ground floor, you reach the basement walking down the beautiful staircase, illuminated by a window overlooking the garden.
Here you'll find a truly incredible space:
an area designed to set up dinners, parties, cooking classes which boasts a 7 meters long walnut table, a perfectly equipped kitchen , a room dedicated to a beautiful billiard table
and a well-stocked cellar, perfect for wine tasting and also to store your own until you leave.
Part of the floor is dedicated to the family history: a collection of ancient peasant objects and big window cellar where you can store salami, hams and typical Tuscan cold cuts
produced directly by the owner' s family which can be eventually booked also beforehand.

Few meters away from the main house you will find the annexe , which used to be the barn,divided in two parts.

ANNEXE (sleeps 2+2)

A part of the annexe is dedicated to an apartment on two floors:
Mezzanine :open bedroom with bathroom and small wardrobe
Ground floor: living room with sitting area and double sofa bed (satellite Tv )dining area and perfectly equipped kitchen
On the other side of the annexe ... the relaxing Jacuzzi room equipped with lying chairs and with large stained glasses with view
on the garden and on the beautiful swimming pool ((12m x 4m; depth 1.5m; open from May to September) with a sun terrace perfectly equipped with lying chairs and sun umbrellas
a barbecue area, and a pizza oven.
On the lower floor, the wellness center, with the sauna, the Turkish bath, the emotional shower, the relaxing room where even children can find their space: body and mind find each other here, for a physical and spiritual rebirth.
Please note that the spa and the jacuzzi are not included in the rental price.
A huge park of 3 hectares surrounds the villa where, among the trees is set the gym, the jewel in the crown of this enchanted place: among the trees, made of Cor-ten steel and glass....here you will feel part of nature.
The attention to detail and the love for the recovery of every ancient element in this place are surprising: from the wooden step, to the stone architrave, to the tractor wheel,so as not to forget our ancestors, to never lose the origins of which ones we come from.
