“This is the kind of beach cottage I remember from childhood. Low-key, homey, and thoughtfully appointed, right down to novels by local authors. I could stay there for a month! The owner/manager lives downstairs and is pleasantly available if you need anything. You do have to get your suitcase up an exterior flight of steps, but he'll help you. You can see the ocean from the porch and walk to it in 2 minutes along a private boardwalk. ”

The private back patio is a great spot to relax and the parking spot has direct access to the street. Overall I enjoyed our stay here particularly how quiet it was. “This house is located in the downtown historic district. All the homes in this area have been restored and are the cutest quaint little houses. It’s only a mile from UF Hospital of Jacksonville. When first arriving the AC was not cooling properly and upon contacting the host they were quick to get it resolved!! (Just needed filters replaced).
