“The Staff was nice, but seems like all the rooms are handicap accessible which is nice but for me and my boyfriend it wasn’t. Since the sink is all the way down low the toilet is very small and low. This wasn’t comfortable for a 6ft guy. The room it self is just outdated wasn’t bad. But the doors all had cracks and in need of replacing asap! ”

“Nice clean hotel. Elevator was broken wish I have known aheayof time I would have asked for a room on bottom floor. It was hard. On my husband to go up and down steps to go in and out ”

“Staying at the Taber Inne & Suites is a bit like travelling back in time... I was recommended a more centrally located hotel in Mystic, but opted for this location a bit more in the outskirts of the town. Very peaceful, good parking, easy to locate and a very short walk into the center! There is a small coffe shop (Nana's) very close by and a few small eating spots (more downtown). Parking was outside my room (no 15) and reception a few doors down. Spacious, great wifi, ok bathroom, door to back...

“The House of 1833 is a beautiful old home with an amazing collection of antiques. It is surrounded by old English style gardens. In late September we were a bit too early for fall colors. The owner is delightful and helpful and the food was wonderful! ”

“It’s a beautiful inn and location! Our room on the third floor had windows on three sides - views of the river and marina as well as views of Long Island sound. The staff was friendly and helpful! They had some cheese and crackers available in the afternoon, fresh cookies at 7pm (perfect little snack after returning from dinner), not to mention a nice breakfast. Would recommend to anyone looking to get away and enjoy some r&r.”
