“Located in the Black Hills and very close to Mt. Rushmore. The food was excellent and the room was huge. The staff was fantastic, they are very friendly and helpful. This year was like our 5th year staying there because the wife and I go to the Sturgis Rally. At the last minute we had to take our almost 7 year old grandson with us and they were so good to him. we will definitely be going back next year and possibly later this year. ”
“Canyon Lake Resort is rather old, but well taken care of. Clean and comfortable I've visited quite a few dodgy hotels around the US where ones have let the interiors deteriorate, this was certainly not the case here even though some of the furniture could do with an upgrade. The rice was rather steep for our visit, in July 2018, but other hotels in the area were even more expensive.”

“The hotel was Not even the problem. Expedia was the worst. Its Sturgis time and it’s already very busy in this area. We booked rooms for our drive back home and we got here at 8:15pm and walked into a lobby with 3 other groups trying to check in through expedia reservations and not one reservation was in the susatem. I felt terrible for the desk staff. She was taking calls from expedia, dealing with customers, and still trying to remain calm. I was put on hold for 10 minutes so the expedia agent...

“Great location. Historic charm and architecture with modern updates throughout. Very nice fitness center. Clean and comfy. The multi level rooftop bar was perfect for enjoying a cocktail and taking in the sights. Fun Irish pub downstairs with outdoor seating and good service. ”

“I wish we'd had longer because the room was super nice and the bed was SO comfortable. We even managed to get a good cup of coffee out of the little coffee pod machine in the room. We all know those machines never make a good cup of coffee but I swear this one did. Very quiet, even with Sturgis in town. ”
“The staff was amazing and so helpful. Got us in our room quick. Ac was on and nice and cool. Great parking for the motorcycle. The room has a full size fridge in there. Very roomy. ”

“Vackert marmorgolv i med mönster av indianfjädrar vid dörrarna, och presidenterna vid Mount Rushmore. Tapet med karta över Rapid City med omgivning på ena väggen. Bastolar med ryggstöd i formen av kaffekopp. Blå skjutdörr till badrummet, vilket var vackert och praktiskt. Ett stort plus för klockradio och en voucher på $15 att utnyttja på hotellet. Bagagevagnar vid hissen. Live music i baren. Underbar utsikt från våning 7. Personalen trevlig, men vi behövde inte deras tjänster speciellt mycket....
