“Canyon Lake Resort is rather old, but well taken care of. Clean and comfortable I've visited quite a few dodgy hotels around the US where ones have let the interiors deteriorate, this was certainly not the case here even though some of the furniture could do with an upgrade. The rice was rather steep for our visit, in July 2018, but other hotels in the area were even more expensive.”

However, when we arrived, they let us know, and they put is in a different room that was much larger than we had booked. They fixed the water heater our first day, and then they moved our stuff for us to the original room we were supposed to be in.
