“Room was spacious, clean. Bed comfortable. Balcony. Good views to water! Has an elevator! A huge bonus! Parking ample. Pool was clean and not over crowded. It has a small beach with a small boardwalk. Would come back. Located in Southport. Love the town. 4 min from great eateries and shops. Recommend Cafe Koa. Get there early! Try the fried green tomato omelet! Great coffee too. Few min drive to Oak Island.”

“A few things werent cleaned properly, sheets didn't look clean or new (luckily I bring my own to any hotel), other than that everything was okay .”

“Vi booked a room through Hotels for five adults and came to the hotel late night - we got a small room with two queen beds but nowhere for the fifth person to sleep. Asked for an extrabed but they were out of those. They said we could book another room for one person instead. I think if you are able to book for 5 adults at your hotel then you should be able to supply a bed for the amont of people booked.”

“Clean room everything in good condition and repair”

“directly on the ocean...we did not have a parking problem, but if they have a full house they have 18 spots and 26 rooms. so, beware. clean, crystal clear water in the pool. the outdoor fire pits were not functioning due to salt corrosion, per the front desk. about a mile walk to the boardwalk. nice fireworks show there every thurs. very close to the water. i would stay again.”

“I spent a couples in town. The hotel was very pleasant experience. Room was clean. Staff was very friendly. Definitely one of the most quiet hotel stays I have had. Would recommend hotel to anyone. The only complaint was not a lot of good food options in area but hotel was great.”

“The buildings are definitely older but everything was clean and the staff were VERY helpful. I couldn't find my charger the first day there and my phone was at 1%, I went to the front desk to ask if they sold any and she said no sorry. Wait do you have an I phone? Here you can borrow mine. The menu at the on site restaurant was limited, but very good. The Tiki bar was a great place to sit and enjoy the view.”

“Very nice quiet spot if you’re looking for somewhere with amazing beach access and the pier/bar right next door is a huge plus! Booked this trip for an anniversary and having beach access at the hotel directly where it only took a few steps to be at the beach was wonderful! Very helpful staff too, definitely make sure to ask for food recommendations cause we got a stellar breakfast recommendation by the person at the front desk after we checked out! Definitely will be coming back the next time...

“It is very nicely located by the beach. They were friendly and helped us with codes that we hadn't received before, the same evening we arrived. However, the floors were really dirty and the main room reeked of urine. We couldn't air out the stench and had a hard time being in the room.”
