Shabby apartment.

Beautiful ocean view, but this condo unit is poorly maintained eg aging furnishing, old inefficient lighting, poor kitchen, door entry locks and handles are shabby

Unclean and not maintained

The building is very rundown and the unit is not suitable for rental in my opinion. Shower door was missing handles, handle door to balcony was loose, numerous bird droppings on balcony floor, and interior floors unclean, electrical wires sticking out from behind smoke detector and door to the property did not feel secure and safe. Construction was going on down the hall from the unit we stayed in, beginning at 8:15am for the two days we were there and lasting most of each day. We had rented the property for three days but left after two days due to our uncomfort. Requested a credit for the last day but have not received it as of yet.

Not A Good Stay- BIG DISAPPOINTMENT

We arrived to our room with no blankets in the room- we had to ask for them. We had to ask for rolls of toilet paper. 3 of the electrical outlets didn't work. We had no broom to sweep so the floors constantly had sand on them. The toilet took 2-3 times to flush. The hallways and elevators smelled like weed the entire trip. the day we arrived the lock was broke on our room door so we had to call maintenance to come and fix it. The Bamboo tiki resort was terrible. The owner Frank was a creep and yelled at us on Sunday for dancing while they had a DJ. Made the DJ stop playing and we were told we couldn't dance anymore. The manager of the tiki hit on us multiple times during our stay. They do not accommodate their tourist unless its rich people or old white people. This was our 3rd time staying here in 4 years and we have decided after this last stay we will not be coming back and will be finding somewhere new to stay. Big disappointment for the money we spent.

Winter getaway

The location is great. Within walking distance to stores and restaurants. Great views from room. The room could use updating and a deep clean. Dining room chairs were broken, no fan i bathroom, tv and outlets didn’t work. It would be nice if they had starter kit of dish soap. We loved our stay but those updates would be great. We didn’t reach out to manager about these items because we made it work.

Didn’t stay because room was occupied

I would give zero stars but that is not an option. We didn’t stay here since our room was occupied upon arrival at ~9:15Pm with people inside partying. The front desk did not help us and RedAwning was not helpful. We texted and called the manager who RedAwning in their arrival email advised to contact if there were any issues and he never returned one call or responded to our texts. We had to make a last minute reservation at another location. If you see a property listed by RedAwning, save your time and money and look for another property.

Nice location but needs improvements

I am returning customer to the same property because of its location. Visited with family of 4 for a week. Bathroom - lacked supplies. Only two toilet rolls and two wash clothes. Soaps and shampoo puches were only a couple as well. When asked for more, it goes to Redawning and they forward request to owner and never heard back from either thereafter. The bathroom fan didn't work. Bathroom was clean though. Bedroom - no one can and should sleep on the bed next to the window. It is completely caved and you can feel every spring. The view from bedroom is great. The storage room - there were dirty filters in there which should have been disposed off. Living area is good - could use one more curtain there. Kitchen - well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. Fridge was clean. Overall - great location. Property needs attention for the money that is charged. Owner didn't respond to any requests - can't rely on that. Supplies needed to be bought.

Nice location

The unit was nice with a great view. It was clean but definitely could use a deep cleaning, especially the bathroom. The property was nice and the location was great. Communication with the owner was not good, we reached out a few times and never got a response and never heard from them until they asked for this review. I have never complained about a stay through VRBO but communication is very important.

Great Area and Hotel - Unit needs work

Loved the are and the hotel- Right on the beach and everything you need for a great weekend. Unit itself looked nice in the pictures but is old and needs updating. It was very clean, but the bathroom has rusty fans and missing towel bars. The AC unit is LOUD and old… difficult to sleep. The beds are old with cheap mattresses that had a huge dip in the middle. The curtains don’t even reach to close. The view is nice and the hotel is nice for an older hotel but I won’t ever stay at that unit.Property manager was completely unresponsive while I was there- I even reached out for help to red awning and they couldn’t reach him. On a great note, the Hotel Manager was great and I think I’ll be booking direct through them next time.

Perfect getaway!

The resort and property was underwhelming at first, but was perfect for a great getaway. Everything you need is right there! The only change I would suggest is to sleep in the bed further from the window as the one next to the window was well worn and not very comfortable.

Great trip!!

This was amazing. I loved everything about it!! I wanted to move in to that amazing condo!! It’s nicer than my apartment at home!!! Def a must stay. I will be booking this again and again!!! Thank you for an amazing time and wonderful place to stay with all the extras!! Just like the pictures but better in person!!!!!
