“On our last 2 stays at this Avid, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. I think it was a malfunction of the system and not an actual smoke detection. We were not able to get a good night’s rest. We won’t stay at this hotel again.”

“Very clean, thought we got a free breakfast but you don't, they had a bistro that sold food, kinda pricey and really nothing for preteens to eat, but we got the fancy Pizza and wings, which tasted good just kinda costly. Pool was small but clean, the were strict about kids swimming with no adult but it was 5 ft deep and the kids were 10 and 12, and grew up with a pool so they were kinda again, strict,.but other then that help was friendly.”

“This property was beautiful and the location both peaceful and convenient in every way! The farmhouse feel, antique furniture, old hardwood floors, and remnants from the past literally took me back thirty years to Grandma's house and made me feel so at home, I almost cried happy tears! Perfect home base for local rock climbing, bouldering, and hiking trails. The hot tub was great to relax sore muscles and warm up on cooler evenings. “The smell of the cleaning chemicals is so strong it hits you soon as you walk in the lobby. It was like they were trying to mask smells with using so much. The bedding smell was so strong I had a hard time sleeping. I also had an allergic reaction to the cleaning chemicals. Also, the shower curtain was too long and looked moldy on the bottom. “Hot tub was awesome, fire pit was great, good climate controls, enough amenities, and the bed was very comfortable. They didn't have sugar for coffee but they did have K pods for the maker. The stores are very close by and the restaurants in town are good too. I enjoyed the stay very much. Thank you!”
